Bulgarian Fund for Women

In Bulgaria, conversations about mental health are often avoided or dismissed. Women, who frequently juggle multiple roles and responsibilities within their families and communities, are among those most affected.

Phrases like “get a grip” or “it could be worse” only deepen the sense of isolation, misunderstanding, and silence. To address this, the Bulgarian Fund for Women launched a project dedicated to supporting women’s mental health and encouraging them to seek professional help. Through the platform kabinet.bg, the initiative offered free individual consultations for one year. The campaign’s goal was to bring hope to thousands of women by assuring them that they are not alone in their struggles. Its central message  “YOU WILL BE HEARD”  was brought to life through a series of metaphorical ads, each portraying the weight of worries, fears, and unspoken emotions.
